Basic Help FAQs

  • Yes, all of our ice baths are compatible with both indoor and outdoors setup. For outdoors setup, we recommend placement in a space that provides some overhead shaded protection from the elements as direct sunlight exposure will affect cooling performance and efficiency. Overhead protection will also protect from falling objects or hail from damaging the chiller or ice bath timbers.

Ensure you have a licensed electrician install a suitable weather safe power outlet.

  • Please pay close attention to the Mandatory Maintenance schedules outlined in your Digital Manual which you can find in your post-purchase emails.

Maintenance steps include changing your paper filter when required, changing water when required, washing internal mesh filters regularly, wiping tub surfaces and skimming water of debris, and general tub surface maintenance as required.

  • As the chillers require circulating water to run well, please first check your troubleshooting steps laid out in your Digital Manual.

If your flow rate is low, first check and change your paper filter if required, check your valves are in the open position and your hoses are routed correctly. Check your hose attachments are firmly hand tightened and no O-rings are missing from your hose ends. You can check your internal metal filter for cleanliness and clean if required.

If you still need help, you can contact support with your order number, details of what you have done so far.

You can also check our Youtube Channel for basic maintenance videos.

  • While our chillers are designed to run continuously, we recommend setting a suitable automated ON/OFF schedule that works for you in the App.

If running continuously, the chiller will reach its set temperature then enter power saving mode, whereby the compressor will not start up until it reaches a 2C variation above set temperature.

When leaving your ice bath for long periods of time whereby you may not be able to monitor chiller flow and water conditions, it is recommend that you empty the tub and power off the chiller.
