The Stoic™ Portable Ice Bath Tub

An ice bath or cold plunge is a cold water immersion therapy tool whereby the body is submerged in cold water, typically between 5-15 degrees Celsius.

While everyone is different, start with as little as 30 seconds in the ice bath and gradually increase your exposure as you become more adapted to the cold. Once you are conditioned to the cold, you can aim for 2-3 minutes of cold exposure, a few times per week.

The Stoic™ Ice Bath is a highly durable, portable ice bath made from multi-layered, military grade PVC, making it highly puncture resistance and super rigid when inflated.

The Stoic can fit up to two people and can be used solo or with our WIFI controlled, automated Chiller unit which offers a temperature range of 3C - 42C and built in replaceable paper filtration an ozone sanitation system. No more dangerous DIY chest freezer ice baths!

The Stoic™ Ice bath is extremely easy to setup, taking only 15 minutes to unpack, inflate to rock solid pressure and connect in to the Chiller unit. We include comprehensive setup instructions via a Digital Manual that you can access any time!

Yes! Every Stoic™ comes with a lockable, inflatable lid with a combination lock and buckles that makes it kid safe and keeps the water cold and unwanted particles out of your plunge tub.

The Stoic can be purchased with our 0.8HP Chiller which has a cooling capacity of 1770W and will take approximately 6-7 hours to cool down the water from ambient temperature.

Please note that exposure to the elements including direct sunlight will affect cooling performance and efficiency.

The Chiller features a 20 micron washable and replaceable paper filter that we recommend changing out once per month based on a single daily plunge. You can adjust this based on your usage - it’s important to wash off before each plunge to extend the life of your filters!

Yes, when you order the Stoic + Chiller Combo we include 5 ice bath filters with each order to keep you going for a number of months depending on usage levels.

Again, this is highly dependant on how often and how many people are using the Stoic, as well as how well you practice pre-plunge hygeine. We recommend a water change out at least once every month or sooner to keep things fresh.

The metal filter is super important to keep clean. With our older model chiller, we recommend washing out your metal filter once every few days as this small filter can build up with hair and fluff quite quickly. With our newer model chiller (internal metal filter), you can service the filter once every month or sooner. When your flow rate drops below 16L/min consistently, this is a good indicator to wash your metal filter out.

Yes, the Stoic ice bath and chiller are suited for both indoor or outdoor setup. If setting up outdoors we recommend shaded overhead cover for protection from the elements for maximum cooling and energy efficiency as exposure to direct sunlight will affect cooling performance.
